What If You Stopped Following Your Dreams?

Do you think anything would happen? I bet it would!

What is the problem with the phrase “follow your dreams”?

Are you sick of hearing it?

I am here’s why…

Not one time in history has a dream solely created an accomplishment. For anything to become a reality, it must first progress through the taking of action.

YOUR action.

In life and business, we can dream ourselves sick (and broke.) However, even if your “dream” is a huge goal that is complex, and fills you with uncertainty and fear. The best way to move it forward is to begin taking action — no matter how small.

However, what if you do not know where to begin?

That is where you want to look to someone who has been where you are. Someone who has travelled a similar path and won. You want to buy or learn from their wisdom and expertise.

Have you a relationship action plan?

Ask yourself the following questions:

1. What am I trying to achieve?

2. Who are five people that can help me to realise it or transform?

3. What is the most significant personal and or professional goal I want to achieve?

4. Where are at least three people I can connect with right now to help me?

I know, spending money and learning how to put in place change while you are growing is scary. How do you know who is legit and who is just a great marketer, but has no substance? Simple. Look at their results and do not back off until you have verified they have done what they have done.

I asked earlier how do you know if I can walk my talk as a Coach! Moreover, a valued Linkedin connection of mine Bart Loos kindly shared an insight with me.

Talk your walk instead of trying to walk your talk.

So find people who can talk their walk and then, emulate the learning and their model correctly. Once working, innovate the model to fit best into your life to achieve your desired goal. By taking action from a proven source, you give yourself a higher chance at success.

So where do you start?

Think about your relationship action plan above. You take action towards your dream then instead of following it.

And if you fail, you learn to fail forward and quickly.

Then get up and take action again.

Think about that.
